Okay time for my semi annual blog update. Man it's really a surprise that anyone comes here anymore the way I update. Sheesh, I remember when I first started this thing, I updated almost every other day or something. I guess I just have better things to do.

So after thinking about it a bit, I realized that I pretty much only blog when I'm pissed, bored or by special request. Mostly just when I'm pissed, tho I'm sure you can figure it out from the last few posts. I'd love to call myself angry asian man, but I believe that title is already taken, so I'll have to settle for angry8ball.

So what's pissing me off this time? Cheaters. Those of you that managed to make your way here know that I like shooting people. So much in fact that I've been doing it on a semi regular basis. Anyway, I went out for some CQB action this weekend and my team got trashed. Every freakin game. I know that we weren't playing that great - with a team of 50% noobs, but c'mon man, in quarters as close as those you're not going to be able to knock out an entire team without losing a man. We even got confirmation from a little fat kid watching the action. One guy was hit "15" times and never called himself out. Another only stopped after someone on my team started yelling at him that he was out. WTF? I mean seriously, I understand that you may be wearing hoodies and have an IQ of less than 50, but damn, if you don't know how to play then stay the hell off the field. It didn't help either than some asswipe had an "illegal" hopped up gun that was breaking skin and drawing blood. Friggin A. Sometimes you just wanna go UFC on someones ass.

Speaking of which, I feel like training again. I don't know if it will really happen, since I've been feeling this way for at least a year and still nothing has happened. Sometimes beating the smack out of someone is fun. =)

Hm.... what else is going on? I suppose there's a lot, but I can't think of what to mention next. Just picked up Age of Empire 3 today and I'm having a hell of a time getting the darn thing to run. This thing has been crashing more than a kid in a go kart race. It's not like I don't meet the min reqs or anything. Dang, now I rememer why I like console gaming so much.

MTV sucks so much ass. I mean really. The M dropped out of MTV long ago. Unless m stands for moronic.

But seriously, the real reason for my anti MTV rant is this sweet sixteen show. I saw it for the first time today and it pisses me off so much to the point of imaginary violence. I mean really. Bitch slaps galore! These little fifteen/sixteen year old fuckheads are spoiled so rotten they make the wonka kids look like friggin angels. I swear , if I had a kid like that, I'd just well... violence. violence and more violence. STOP 180K for a friggin' party? Where's my bitch slap gun? Disrespecting their parents, acting like they're better than other people. Like the other half said, they're the kind of kids that you hope end up poor since they're good for nothing and a waste of space.

If you haven't seen it, I DARE you to watch it for more than 5 minutes without either vomiting or having extreme feelings of violence. ARG!!!!

Okay, so I haven't exactly been up to date on the updates and yeah, yeah the last few updates said the same thing. I actually remember when I used to update this thing on a daily basis which is a surprise since I'm shocked I still remembered the password. Anyway quite a lot has gone on this year. Let's see if I can hit all the major points in brief. Kinda like 8ball cliff notes. Here goes:

* Busy with work. (Now what the hell gave that away =) )
* Moving to a new pad soon! (help me move my crap email to follow)
* I think I'm getting married soon (watch the time fly)
* Leveled up on da moto (still low, but cruising the left ain't as scary as it used to be)
* Leveled up da moto (two bruddahs)
* Busting ass at work; I swear sometimes it seems like I'm one of the few
* Got shot down AGAIN for the next sup spot. Curses. (I didn't want that shift anyway)
* Man, I need to pack up.
* Goin to E3 in a few days (something tells me this may be the last)
* Just remembered I have received from work (1) authentic cowboy hat (1) authentic SF Giants jersey and (1) funky t-shirt that's got a pic of officer barbrady in superman tights on the back. What the hell all that has to do with drugs, i dunno.

Update time again: Well it looks more and more like I'll be hanging out in tha drug factory a bit longer. As of earlier today I found out I did get the other spot, only they're having trouble coming up with the dough flow I requested. We'll see tomorrow, I guess. It's all about the benjermins baby! And for those of you that care, the new Linkin Park/Jay-Z collaboration dropped today. Album will be released at the end of the month. I love Linkin Park and will probably play the shit out of that album, but will they hurry up and come out with some NEW tracks for once??? Concert albums and remixes can only do so much...

There's something wrong with me.... I'm updating again. Maybe it's just the drama of it all; i dunno. So after coming off one of the worst weeks ever, I drop into work today to two job offers. One of them sounds very interested and I could actually have a upper hand on negotiations for once. But as you all know, for me, "sure" things can go to shit pretty fast so until I see those offer letters (as soon as tomorrow) it's all just wind to me

Wow, check this out – another update. Okay, so in the heat of my previous explosion, I may have neglected to explain what exactly happened. At the time, I kinda thought most of you would have been able to figure it out, but due to concerned calls (which I greatly appreciate, thanks you guys!) I feel it is my duty to explain a bit more.

About two months ago, I applied for a new gig at the not-so-evil corporation I currently serve at. Quite a step up had I actually got it. Anyway, I was partially inspired by ye old spiel about how the department encourages anyone to apply for these positions regardless of where you are now. What a crock of BS. But I digress…

So way back when, I was very nonchalant about things. If I get it great, if I don’t –no biggie. But that was a long time ago. Up until the last update, I had been led to believe that I was in. Sure none of the brass actually said the word, but as I said many times to people asking me if I had got the job, “All signs point to yes.” Some friggin 8ball I am, doh!

Anyway for your entertainment, I’ll go into these signs. The combination of them all is really why I’m so friggin pissed. I swear, if they had just told me no a month ago instead of stringing me along like a puppet, I’d be okay now. It started pretty early on with rumors from various sources popping up that I had gotten it. I don’t really take stock in rumors, but hey, they were there from various sources and were telling me what I wanted to hear. I had interviewed well (that I know for sure) and I guess the story fit nicely. The first real sign came a few weeks ago, when I was asked to take what amounted to a personality test for management and leads. Seeing as how no one else in my position had been asked, it looked good. I talked to other supervisors and leads and they talked about the test and how it basically told them about their leadership styles. It looks like they were trying to figure out mine in order to find out exactly what shift to stick me on. From there the signs started popping up left and right. Another one of my colleagues began lead training and since IMHO I was easily the top candidate for such a spot, I figured that they skipped me since I was already selected to move beyond that position. I even had a conversation with one of my leads, where he told me not to worry about being passed over since the brass “had plans for me.”

As the need for the position steadily grew, more and more people began to approach me to find out if I would “be their boss.” After my normal reply, I would be greeted with a “don’t worry, of course, you got it” or a “you’ll be great at that job.” So many people believed in me, how could I not believe in myself? So the day finally comes when I get an email from the manager telling me so sorry for the delay, we’re finalizing things now, will schedule a meeting next week, can’t wait to meet with you. More good news, I thought. Since when does anyone look forward to giving you bad news? So the week rolls around and still no word – turns out the manager was out sick. No problem, I’ve waited this long, a few more days won’t kill me. But on the last day, I get a call- did the senior sup talk to you about the spot? Nope. Well, that’s another good sign. I would be reporting to her if I got the gig. Okay big finish.

So the night is just about over and I get called into my sups office. Lo and behold the manager is there at an ungodly hour (after begin out sick most of the week no less). So a few formalities are exchanged and he says “we decided not to hire you.” I guess I made a witty comment or something (that I can’t remember), but he proceeds to say, “No, I’m serious.” Pretty much everything after that was in one ear and out the other. It was kinda like getting kicked in the face – I never saw it coming. Then it’s just kind of hazy and I’m trying to figure out what just happened. I did manage to hear something about needing more leadership experience and to go for the next lead spot that opens up. Like they couldn’t have told me that months ago. They knew exactly where I was at and this BS excuse just isn’t cutting it. In the meantime, the fact that I just got passed over for said lead position was like another slap in the face. The manager basically came all the way into work to kick me in the nuts. Upon reflection, I bet it’s because he wanted to give me the weekend to cool off. Getting me pissed off on a Monday won’t help with production. Besides, I’m supposed to be one the top people. Shyeah right.

So that’s where I’m at. Stuck.

Why does this shit keep happening to me? WHY? WHHHYYYYYYYYYY?!?!??!?!?!?!?
Sure I ain't gonna burn any bridges and I'll always have a smile on my face and mean it in the worst of times, but that don't mean shit when I'm by myself on the net and pissed as hell.

I'd like to thank those who have shown me the proverbial finger and taught me once again that it doesn't matter how hard you try, cuz in the end it doesn't even matter. I believe this ranks about the 3rd worst day of my life. Having said that, I feel a little better, so I'll just sum it up with one last Nothin personal against anyone involved in making this one of the crappiest days ever. I just need to scream.

Ok so yea. Once again it has been like six bazillion years since the last update. It's a wonder you still cut down the vines and pass through all the booby traps and spiderwebs to get here. Anyway, two things have prevented me from updating. First and foremost is the fact that technonlogy HATES ME. For the past few months, my gear has been acting up, denying me access to the info superhighway n such. Most of that has been resolved, but the wireless continues to be an issue. I had also hoped to update on the new gig, but since I'm STILL WAITING, I have nothing to report. Supposedly, I'm gonna find out this week, but we all know what that means. Anyway, I'll be going to socal this weekend to visit my lady and attempt to score a super lucky cat. Just another exciting weekend. Let's see how long it takes me to update again...
